Word press is a content management system to create blog website. With WordPress you can design a static webpage or blog. Here we will learn how to install WordPress themes for your hosting service and how to create a website.

Step- 1

Buy hosting service from a reputable hosting service provider ( Bluehost, Hostgator, Fatcow and many more).  Example hosting service provider offer full privileges to use all types of CMS on a single platform.

Step-2

Logged into your c-panel account and go to simple script option and found all CMS (content management system) available. Under the blogging section you will find word press. Click on the icon and install word press on your website.

Step-3

After installation of word press on your website, you will get a username and login password.

Step-4

Select and download the best theme according to your niche. You can choose free flexible theme. Download onto your desktop. Log in to your WordPress site (www.example.com/wp-admin). Go to appearance and theme section. Install new theme and upload the zip file from your system.  Then you will successfully install the theme.

Step-5

Create new pages and menu- Click “Appearance” from the left menu, then clicks “Menus” from the sub-menu. Place a check in the box next to your pages in the Page list, then click the “Add to Menu” button. You see your pages appear in the right frame. Reorder your page links by clicking and dragging on the page names, and then click the “Save Menu” button.

Select your menu name from the “Primary Navigation” drop-down menu and click the “Save” button to activate it.

Type a name for your menu, then clicks the “Create Menu” button. Next step is to create new pages for your website. Most common pages are Home, about us, contact, sitemap etc.  You can customize niche related pages also

Now question is how to create new pages in word press dashboard. Go to the pages section click create new. Enter title and post about your topic. You can add images, video and outbound links into the post. Tags are most important factor to get website ranking better, they function as a niche keywords, so do not forget to add tags for each pages and post.

Step-6

Install Plug-in and widgets- To make your website more flexible and standard you need to install plug-in and widgets. There are different type of social media plug-in are available to install on sidebar (Face book like, Google plus badge, twitter followers etc).

Click a widget section from the right menu on dashboard, such as “Widget Area,” which usually indicates widgets displayed in the right frame of your website. Click on the installed widget and drag and drop to the side bar section add into your website.
